Chevrolet is produced by North American corporation General Motors (GM). In South Africa, Chevrolet was GM's main brand name until 1982, with a number of Vauxhall Motors and Holden derivatives being built under the Chevy name from 1964. Today, they are known for producing a line of affordable vehicles for the South African market. Chrysler Group LLC is an American automobile manufacturer headquartered in Auburn Hills, Michigan. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Italian multinational automaker, Fiat. Chrysler was one of the "Big Three" American automobile manufacturers and it sells vehicles worldwide under its flagship Chrysler brand, as well as the Dodge, Jeep, and Ram brands. Citroën was the first mass-production car company outside the USA, pioneering the modern concept of creating a sales and services network that complements the vehicle. Within eight years, Citroën had become Europe's largest car manufacturer and the 4th largest in the world.

Founded in 1907, Daihatsu Motor Corpration Ltd. is the oldest Japanese car manufacturer, mostly known for producing a range of smaller models and off-road vehicles focused on "fuel efficiency", "affordable price", and "conservation of resources" by perfecting the conventional technologies that they have developed. Daimler AG is a German multinational automotive corporation headquartered in Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. In addition to automobiles, Daimler manufactures buses and provides financial services through its Daimler Financial Services arm. Ferrari S.p.A. is an Italian sports car manufacturer based in Maranello. Foton is a major manufacturer of commercial vehicles in Asia and ranked second worldwide. Based in Beijing, Foton creates high-quality products for lower production costs, allowing the brand to provide its customers with high quality, affordable vehicles.

Great Wall Motors Company Limited is a Chinese automobile manufacturer formed in 1976. The company is named after the Great Wall of China and was named China's largest sports utility vehicle (SUV) producer as of 2010. From making steel rods for crinoline dresses, it turned to umbrella frames, then wire wheels which seemed only a natural step towards bicycles and then cars when the personal transportation revolution began. Established in 1931, Porsche is a German automotive manufacturer of exotic sport cars and luxury SUVs around the world. Proton Holdings Berhad is a Malaysian automobile manufacturer. It is headquartered in Shah Alam, Selangor and operates an additional manufacturing plant in Tanjung Malim, Perak. Proton was largely a manufacturer of badge engineered vehicles from Mitsubishi Motors between 1985 and the early 2000s. The company has since produced several indigenously designed models and operates in at least 26 countries today, of which the majority are in Asia.
